Affiliate disclosure

AskLoot is free to use. We earn money when you buy through some of our links. Here is exactly how that works.

Affiliate links

Some links on AskLoot are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the store may pay us a commission. You pay the same price.

Commission never changes the ranking

Our Cheapest, Safest good deal and Official store answers, and the order of the comparison table, are based on price, how well the offer matches your request (game, edition, platform, region), and seller risk. The commission we might earn, or whether an offer earns us anything at all, is not a ranking factor.

Sponsored placements

We may show a paid placement. If we do, it appears in its own slot, is clearly labelled Sponsored, and only appears when the offer matches what you asked for. Sponsored placements never change the organic results. This follows the EU rules on paid ranking (Directive (EU) 2019/2161).

Grey-market sellers

AskLoot compares official stores, authorised resellers, keyshops and marketplaces. Keyshops and marketplaces are labelled grey market. Their keys can be cheaper but carry more risk, such as region locks or revoked keys. We show a short risk note with each grey-market offer, and you can switch to official stores only at any time.
