AskLoot is an AI game deal finder. You ask for a game in plain English and get a straight answer: the cheapest price, the safest good deal and the official store price, side by side.
Why we are building it
Buying a game key should not need a spreadsheet. Price comparison sites show long lists of stores, but they rarely explain which offers are official, which are grey market, and what the real risk is. AskLoot turns that into a short answer you can act on, and keeps the full comparison one click away.
How AskLoot will work
- Ask naturally. "Elden Ring on Steam for the EU under 30 euros" works. So does "is this keyshop safe?".
- Three answer cards. Cheapest, Safest good deal and Official store, each with price, region, edition and seller type.
- Your choice of sellers. Show both official and grey-market sellers, grey market only, or official only.
- An assistant that reads data. Prices come from store feeds with a timestamp. The AI explains them; it never makes them up.
- Works in your AI assistant too. We plan a public MCP server so tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Grok can query AskLoot directly.
Our principles
- Grey-market sellers are always labelled as such, with key-risk information.
- We never rank offers by the commission we earn.
- Any paid placement sits in its own slot, clearly labelled Sponsored, and we publish how our ranking works.
- No fake reviews, fake stats or made-up testimonials. Ever.
